Rupan graduated in from Sheffield University in 1998. She did her ENT training in the West Midlands with fellowship training in Perth, Western Australia. She completed her PhD in 2013 at the University of Nijmegen and has been a Consultant Otologist at UHB since 2013. Her clinical interests include chronic middle ear disease, surgery for hearing, implantation otology and balance.
Consultant ENT Surgeon

Will has overall responsibility for the management of Audiology Services at UHB. He qualified in 1991 and graduated from the University of Manchester gaining the awards of MSc in 2006 and Doctor of Clinical Science in 2025 . Will joined UHB in 2017, having previously worked for 11 years as the Head of Audiology in Nottingham. He held the role of President of the British Academy of Audiology between 2013/14 and non-executive director of the Academy of Healthcare Science from 2014–2018. He is currently operating as the Hospital Director of Healthcare Science.

Advanced fellowship training followed in Australia, at the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital and the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
He is Past President of the British Society of Otology, has a strong research interest and is currently recruiting to research trials for hearing loss involving hearing implants. He specialises in treating hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, ear infections, otosclerosis and tumours related to the ear.
